After presenting reports on the three main joints involved in composition the shoulder joint, in article of today we highlight the ligaments present in the shoulder, insertion and function.

Ligaments are reinforcing fibers which are situated in the walls of the joint capsules. These are named according to their function or according to the bones they connect. (WIRHED, 1986). The basic functions of these are: to unite bone parts, through an attachment to these, the limited range of moves and function to prevent undesirable movements in plans. (DANGELO, 1988).
